Superfood Smoothie

with Mango, Orange, Almondmilk, Coconut Oil, Chia, Turmeric, Ginger and Cayenne Pepper

Coming home from an intense workout, I am craving for something that refuels my energy and nutrient stores. This smoothie is the best after-workout superfood drink there is. But that’s just me.

Ingredients for 2 cups

1 ripe mango
1 large orange
1 cup almond milk
1 tsp coconut oil
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp ground turmeric
1/4 tsp ground cayenne pepper
1 inch knob fresh ginger

How it works

Peel and cube mango and orange. Use fresh, ripe fruit for the best flavor. Peel the ginger using a teaspoon and cut into small pieces.

Place all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth. You can also add a few ice cubes or use frozen mango if you want your smoothie to have a more creamy texture.

Enjoy. Refuel. Energize!
