Fresh ingredients, scratch cooking whenever possible and joyful eating are the principals of my nutrition. I am a young professional, work out at the gym, yoga studio and muay thai gym multiple times a week, have a challenging husband and specific preferences when it comes to food. Am I struggling to keep up a healthy eating habit? Oh yes! But even with a busy schedule–it’s possible to not only stay on track but also optimize your nutrition if you’re conscious of what you eat and follow a balanced, active lifestyle.

Optimize Your Nutrition

A strong performance begins with good preparation – selecting the right sport, proper equipment and clothes, and building a workout routine. But, performing to your best also means optimizing your daily nutrition. Consuming the right amount of calories and essential nutrients — such as carbohydrates, protein, fat, vitamins, minerals and fluids — make a difference in your physical and mental performance.

You Are Unique

Fueling your active life right is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Every person has a specific set of needs that require a unique nutrition plan. Depending on your biometrics (age, gender, weight, height, heritage), training regimen (exercise type, frequency, intensity, duration, training status and goals), as well as personal requirements (physical health, lifestyle, allergies, intolerances, preferences and social environment), nutritional needs vary, and so do nutrition plans. No two plans I am formulating look alike – I am developing a custom nutrition plan that is specific to your needs.
